Create a Time Machine : Download
You can create your own Time Machine imagery -- gigapixel scale video, perhaps shot in timelapse mode from a GigaPan device, or perhaps from some other data source you have by using Time Machine Creator. To find out more about shooting timelapse, gigapixel imagery for Time Machine, see Timelapse HOWTO. We'll even help you stitch your imagery and make it ready for serving to the world here at timemachine.cmucreatelab.org. If you have other sources of very-high-resolution image frames or video and would like to share with the world here at timemachine.cmucreatelab.org, contact us for help bringing your imagery to our server and making it ready for serving.
Create a Tour : Tutorial
When viewing any of the Time Machines you find on the Main Page, click the "editor" button on the right side of the viewer to bring up the tour creator tool. This editor allows you to build an animated tour through time and space, which you can also share or embed. You can save and load these tours, and if you create one you think would be of general interest, email us and we'll put you in touch with the page author. Learn more at the tour editor tutorial.
